The Magic of Silence

‘Let us be silent, that we may hear the whispers of the Gods’

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Source of wisdom and (personal) leadership

In our daily lives we are often overwhelmed by a constant stream of stimuli and demands.

We often have the feeling that we are being ‘lived’ and we may well have lost touch with our essence, our passion and our dreams.

By becoming silent and still, we create space for inner peace, clarity and renewed inspiration.

During our week of ‘slowing down’, we can really distance ourselves from the patterns and automatisms that often predominate in our daily lives. It is an invitation to feel more deeply and discover what really ‘lives within us’ and wants to be lived more, or more fully. It is a week of resetting and recharging your batteries.

Location

The Magic of Silence takes place in a beautiful place: La Terra Saggia, in the heart of Le Marche, Italy. The enchanting surroundings of La Terra Saggia will act as a natural backdrop to our journey inward. Think of vast hills, winding paths through lush forests and the silence of remote places where you only hear the sound of the wind and birds. In this serene environment you will have the opportunity to embrace the silence and experience how it leads you to a quiet place within yourself.

From this quiet place, we will find answers to the challenges of our daily lives. Without the noise of the outside world, we can listen to our own inner voice and, in listening to that voice, make new, conscious choices, from a place of clarity, authenticity and resilience.

This week is intended for

Prior knowledge

You don’t need any prior knowledge.

If you have already done some work in the field of personal or spiritual development, this week will take you further on your path of discovery. An open attitude and willingness to ‘dive into’ the many meditations and physical exercises is necessary.

From this quiet place, we will find answers to the challenges of our daily lives. Without the noise of the outside world, we can listen to our own inner voice and, in listening to that voice, make new, conscious choices, from a place of clarity, authenticity and resilience.

We don’t expect you to you to be silent and calm straight away. We slowly help you to move from ‘being busy in your head’  to a more quiet place and space within yourself.

Body work and meditative exercises are a great gateway and it is very much a part of the program. Nature also is an important part of this silent week. Where possible, we will do exercises outside, take walks in silence, or just sit in silence.

We invite participants to keep telephone, time and contact with the outside world to a minimum.

La Terra Saggia offers a fantastically tasty and plentiful vegetarian cuisine.
