"Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working."
- Pablo Picasso
You’re offered space, time, planned activities and explorations that allow you to reconnect to your desires and needs.
Taking time away from your usual environment and duties will spark inspiration and allow you to dive deep into your passion. When you step outside of your comfort zone you become more creative, more daring, bolder, playful and produce more artwork.
You’re offered space, time, planned activities and explorations that allow you to reconnect to your desires and needs. You’ll be able to focus on your artistic pursuit and have the freedom to explore without mundane constraints.
Our art retreat not only provides you with the time and space to focus on your work, but it also immerses you in a different dimension of time. A time beyond planning and control, where you can follow your instincts, let creativity flow, and discover new perspectives.
It’s a time where you’ll also be confronted with your own temptations and fears. The blank canvas, the inability to choose from countless ideas, procrastination, the nagging thought that it might all lead to nothing… At home, these doubts might discourage you, but at Artisa, you’re given the space to simply be with them and allow something new to emerge.
Set-up
We start with an intake to understand your expectations and needs, and what is important for the week.
Each day follows a thoughtfully designed schedule to help you create as productively as possible. Mornings start with an optional yoga and meditation session before breakfast, setting a relaxed and focused tone for the day. After breakfast, we hold a check-in where you outline your goals and plans for the day. The rest of the day is yours to work, interspersed with opportunities for relaxation and inspiring meetings.
In order to create it is very helpful to feel relaxed and open. You can enjoy leisurely walks in nature, refreshing swims, meaningful connections with fellow participants, or simply immerse yourself in the tranquil silence of La Terra Saggia.
Several evenings are dedicated to presentations and thematic exchanges, sharing your creative process and fostering inspiration and dialogue. Additionally, we can arrange feedback sessions where you can receive constructive insights from us and other participants.
